Since graduating from massage school in 2005 I began gaining my massage experience. Vail, CO., Martha’s Vineyard, MA., Mendocino, CA., USVI to name a few outside of Maine… And back to southern Maine where I grew up…most recently, before moving back to Maine with my husband and 7-year-old son, I had been massaging and living on a small island in the Caribbean.

The style of massage that has evolved over the years I would describe as intuitive deep tissue and therapeutic massage, and more recently in the last year, manual lymphatic drainage. Massage and bodywork has the potential to find and release core muscle lines and fascial systems in the body, creating more efficiency, healing, space and movement in the body.

It is a priority for me that each person knows how important they are to any of the work being provided to them. Communication is an incredibly important key, especially when it comes to deep muscular work… Preference, pain tolerance, mood, stress, physical discomfort, and intention will be different in each session, it’s important to communicate this… And hydrate!

I have had the pleasure of learning and working in several of the different professional environments you might imagine… as an employee at high end spas to an independent massage therapist. Solo beach massages to groups of 20+. From working out of one location to different locations for sessions. I love it all. But I am particularly fond of being able to partake in the workings and collaboration with other practitioners. There is nothing like it. When the organization behind the scenes comes together to create a symbiotic, therapeutic, professional and clean environment… fueled by the diversity of practitioners and work, it is a synchronicity that one can feel in the biology/the body. This type of space is incredibly important to begin inner and outer work.

Tori teaches the Deep Stretch class. She offers poses to stretch the body, then cues you to bring breath into the pose. We target hip tightness, sciatica and headaches with appropriate poses, but It isn’t until we add the breath to the pose that we feel the ease in the body. These classes aim to get your body familiar with being comfortable and let that run through the cells. Come enjoy a class. Tori’s been teaching since 2011 and practicing since the 90s.

Ultrarunner, dog dad, and outdoor enthusiast. I love helping people reach their movement goals and practicing what I preach. I believe in moving daily and enjoying every minute of it. If you have ever been to PT before in a big room with multiple patients being “guided” by one provider and been frustrated: say no more. I firmly believe in one-on-one individualized care. I enjoy providing care in a setting where patients have my undivided attention for the duration of the session. No distractions; one patient at a time!
